Muslim professionals
1. Never do personal work during office hour - never betray trust
2. The purpose of our creation - purpose of life

- AlQuran: I have created men and the jinns to worship me
- The best of worship is salah
- Following the commandments of the Quran and the hadith  are also considered worship
- What is ihsan? Ihsan is worshipping Allah as though you see Him and if you cant reach this level, assume that He will see you. This will leave you to be the best.
- A Muslim professional who has ihsan will be the best employee
- Hadith: Allah loves those who are excellence. - A muslim professional has to be an excellent professional.
- It is better to be a competent worker at lower level and lower salary than an incompetent higher position, higher salary
-Whatever profession it is as long it is halal, the muslim should be performing his profession at proficient level
- Hadith - a strong believer is more beloved to Allah than a weak believer
-The  Prophet was called alamin - the truthful
- The story of Musa at the well - one of the daughters of the shepherd asked the father to hire a man who is trustworthy and strong
- Trustyworthiness - speak the truth but also hide the defects ((Correction: speak the truth and dont hide the defects))
- A muslim professional should not reject the truth and look down on people; should not be arrogant
- Stand up to truth even though it could be against yourself, your relatives, etc and even the poor
- Why the poor - it should be for the justice for the rich and the poor ((correction on clarity: justice is for all, regardless of levels, rich or poor))
- The highest in the scale is a good character
- In the Prophet Muhammad saw is the best character
- The richest man is the muslim who offers sunnah two rakaat before solat fajar (richer than jeff bezos)
- Every muslim should offer salah at work despite the restrictions at the workplace
- Should also recite AlQuran every day (which provides guidance on how to be a professional muslim)
- Most common reason a person engage in profession is for money or sustenance
- Most people are worried anout tomorrow (sustenance-phobia) or rizq-phobia
- Our prophet said in sahih muslim 'Allah saw decreed sustenance 50 thousand years before the creation)
-Before you were born these were written -rizq, lifespan, deeds, misery or happiness
- Allah has the ultimate power
- Fear Allah and be careful of your deeds, do the good deeds and abstain from the wrong deeds
- On rizq: have tawakkul on Allah as you have trust on him and rizq will come like the birds which leave the nest early morning and come back in the evening
- To earn money by telling a lie is not a muslim professional
- Muslim professionals are expected to abstain from all haram
- Look at the person below you in term of sustenance and look at the people above you in term of knowledge
- Tawakkul is very important - Allah gives sustenance without measures
- What is the best profession in the eye of Islam? The best profession according to Allah in the quran is daei - the person who calls towards Allah - enjoins what is good amd forbids what is wrong
- We should be part-time daei
- Surah Al-asr - 4 criterias to enter jannah which include enjoining the good and forbidding the wrongs in addition to the belief, deeds and perseverence.
- Daei should not be demanding money as reward for dakwah. Allah will give the sustenance and make the daei sufficient. Tawakkul to Allah is very important.
- for the muslim world, we need people like sahabats to continue as daeis..
